Bryan Gay is a seasoned hotelier with over 30 years of experience in the hotel industry holding executive level roles is some of the largest and most prestigious resort casinos in the world.
Upon graduation from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Bryan was part of the opening team for the Mirage Resort and Casino that started the Vegas boom. He was selected to participate in the Mirage’s MAP (Management Associate Program) where he experienced the importance of every position and department within the resort. He insists that the knowledge he received while being a Housekeeper, Front Desk Clerk, Internal Maintenance Porter, etc.…is what developed him into the leader he is today. He learned to respect and understand every role that all team members play in the success of a property delivering top customer service.
After completion of the six month MAP program, he played an intricate role in the opening of Treasure Island Hotel and Casino in his first sales role where he handled Leisure, Convention Sales and Convention Services.
He then held positions at Caesars Palace as a National Sales Manager and then at Mandalay Bay in the spring of 2000 as Senior National Sales Manager.
Over the next 9 years at Mandalay Bay he held positions as Associate Director of Sales; Director of Sales; Director of Tradeshow and Convention Sales; and Executive Director of Sales.
In 2009, he was promoted to Vice President of Sales for the Mirage Resort and Casino where he started his career. While in this role, he oversaw Leisure Sales, Convention Sales, Weddings, Convention Services, and Catering.
In 2010, he moved back to Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino as Vice President of Sales overseeing the sales efforts for the property.
In 2016, he decided to expand his experience outside of Las Vegas and moved to Reno, NV, after accepting the position of Sr. Vice President of Sales for Meruelo Gaming Group overseeing all sales, convention services, catering, weddings, banquets, and audio-visual for the Grand Sierra Resort. In 2018, the company acquired the SLS Las Vegas where Bryan took a corporate role overseeing both Grand Sierra Resort and SLS Las Vegas which is now the Sahara Las Vegas.
After a long run in Nevada, he decided to take his experience to the international level where he is now the Sr. Vice President of Sales for the Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
In his current role at one of the most recognizable properties in the world, he oversees all Leisure and Convention, Conference Planning, On-island sales, Weddings & Special Events, and Catering.
